February 2026 Recap

           This past February was full love at Waymaker Church, as we celebrated Valentine’s Day and bore the cold Buffalo weather. Watch this past month’s livestreams on our Youtube Channel, @Waymaker-Buffalo, or on our Facebook, Waymaker Church Buffalo, including our Youth’s Friendship Night. 

        This year, Waymaker Church hosted its first couples dinner. This romantic night featured special teachings from Magdiel, Mike, Nieves, and Zulma. Couples enjoyed a tasty dinner by candlelight, and had professional couple portraits taken. A special thanks to Yoly and Gianna, who looked after the children, and to Emmanuel and Bella, for serving the food.

       The youth had a wonderful evening celebrating not only love for their friends, but the ways God calls us to love each other. Youth Member Bella brought a powerful preaching, translated by Youth Member and Worship Leader Emmanuel, on this topic. 

      One of the many verses she included was John 3:18: 

“Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; 

let us show the truth by our actions.” 

         After the preaching, the youth enjoyed painting, coloring, and making friendship bracelets. Youth members Nani and Gianna painted each other—and these great artworks now reside in Pastor’s office. A special thanks to our Youth Leader, Clarimar, who continues to fund our events with delicious food. 

        Waymaker Church’s Sunday services have filled with the Holy Spirit this month, with powerful dances, and we know it will continue into the rest of the year. We greatly thank Laura for the beautiful photos she’s taken of the congregation this month.
