Moses held in his hand a rod which it was a symbol of his past sheperd and his livelihood. It was an object that held so much meaning to Moses.
The Lord commanded Moses to let it go. Once he dropped it on the ground it became a snake.
What rod are we holding onto in our lives? The stress of work, finacial situations, balancing our lives, a crisis, the list could go on... We should not hold on any longer, becuase these rods can block the blessings God has for us.
